The ideal grid for sampling your fields depends on the heterogeneity within the fields. The more the soil conditions vary, the smaller the grid should be. The best results are achieved by sampling based on Talking- Fields (TF) zone maps. The TF zone map is an extension to the TF basic map and combines similar growth areas into digital zones. The zones are used as specifications for walking lines for efficient and purposeful sampling.
DGPS-supported sampling to meet the requirements of the German Fertiliser Ordinance (DüV). The new Fertiliser Ordinance stipulates that you calculate your N requirement before fertilising according to the specifications of the ordinance. The supply of N in the soil is deducted from a set point (e.g. 230 kg N). The Nmin value, which you prepare during fertilisation, plays the most important role in calculating fertilisation.
Do you want to rely on average values in your region?
The Nmin analysis gives more security and the right value for your fieldsfrom a crop cultivation point of view. Therefore, we advise you to have your own Nmin samples, supported by GPS. These are more accurate and meaningful than average values for your region. Ideally, you take a representative Nmin sample from each field. Similar field areas with the same previous crop and history can also be evaluated by means of a sample.
